Who we are

This site is operated by MoWoB Technologies. We build and finish software for clients. You can reach us about anything on this page at info@mowob.com, and we answer within one business day.

What we collect

• What you give us when you book. Business enquiries go through our booking calendar, which is run by Calendly. When you book a call it collects your name, your email address, the time you picked and anything you add when booking, and passes them to us.
• What you send us by email. If you email us, for press, careers or anything else, we get your email address and whatever you write.
• What you tell us on a call. Notes about your project, so we can quote it and get on with it.
• How you used the site, if you have not opted out: pages viewed, how you arrived, approximate location from your IP address, and the campaign that referred you. This comes from Google Analytics, and from the Meta pixel on the pages where we run advertising.
• Your choice about the above, stored in your own browser so we do not have to ask again.

We do not ask for a payment card, a government ID, or anything about your health on this website, and there is no login, so we hold no passwords.

How we use it

To reply to you, schedule calls, write proposals, do the work you hire us for, and measure whether our advertising is worth running. Nothing else. We do not use what you send us to train any model, and we do not build a profile of you.

Who we share it with

Service providers only, and only so they can do the job we hired them for: our hosting provider, our email provider, Calendly for booking calls, Google for analytics, and Meta for advertising measurement. Each of them sees only what that job needs. We do not sell your information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising beyond the measurement described above.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

Nothing that tracks you loads before we check whether you allow it. The analytics and advertising tags are injected by JavaScript rather than written into the page, so a visitor who has opted out never downloads them at all.

• We honour Global Privacy Control. If your browser or extension sends that signal, we treat it as an opt-out and load nothing, without you doing anything else.
• Your privacy choices in the footer of every page turns analytics and advertising on or off, and overrides the signal above in either direction, because that is a deliberate choice by the same person. Your setting is kept in your own browser, so clearing site data resets it.
• The site itself needs no cookies to work. Turn everything off and nothing breaks.
• The booking calendar is Calendly's. It loads only when you open it or scroll to it, and Calendly may set its own cookies inside it, under Calendly's privacy notice.

Where your data is processed

In India, where our team works, and in the United States, where some of our providers run. If you are writing to us from outside either country, sending us a message means your information is handled in both.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and call notes for as long as we are talking, and for up to two years after, so we can pick up a conversation you left. Project records for as long as we are working together, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting rules require us to keep them. Analytics data follows the retention period set in each tool. Ask us to delete yours sooner and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

Your choices

Email info@mowob.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or get a copy in a portable format. We will not ask you to jump through hoops, and we will not treat you differently for asking. We may need to check you are who you say you are before we hand over a copy.

If you are in California

You can ask which categories of personal information we collected about you in the past twelve months, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we disclosed it to. You can ask us to delete it or correct it. You can ask us not to sell or share it, though we do not sell personal information and never have. Exercising any of these rights will not get you worse treatment, a worse price, or a slower reply. Use the email address above, or the "Your privacy choices" control in the footer.

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area

Our lawful basis is your consent for analytics and advertising, and our legitimate interest in replying to you for everything else. You can withdraw consent at any time through the footer control, ask for access, correction, deletion or portability, object to processing, and complain to your national data protection authority.

If you are in India

You can ask for access, correction and erasure of your personal data, and nominate someone to exercise those rights if you cannot. Write to the email address above. That address is also our grievance contact, and a person answers it.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, we keep what you send us in access-controlled accounts, and only the people working on your project can see it. No website can promise perfect security, and we are not going to be the first to try.

Changes

If we change this policy we change the date below. If a change is significant we will say so at the top of this page for a month.
